Although the 2024 Paris Olympics are still many months away from starting, the US basketball team has begun preparing for a “revenge” campaign this coming summer.

The call-up list includes 41 players announced by the US team’s leadership on January 24 with many famous names, all with the goal of bringing the American basketball team to the highest podium at the Paris Olympics.

LeBron James and Stephen Curry both did not play in the World Cup but are ready to play for the team at the 2024 Olympics. Other big names are similar including Anthony Davis, James Harden, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Chris Paul or Paul George.

Of course, we cannot ignore the most notable “rookie” of the American basketball team, Joel Embiid, the center forward who chose the American basketball team instead of his hometown team Cameroon or France.

Embiid has confirmed that he will play for the US team at the 2024 Paris Olympics if nothing unexpected happens, promising to become the solution to the center forward problem that has caused headaches for the team for many years.
