Travis Kelce spent more than $1 million on a private jet to travel across the United States and the world to go on a date with Taylor Swift. The New York Post said that from September 2023 until now, Kelce is estimated to have spent about 1.21 million USD on these private flights.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is said to have flown from the US to Argentina on a Friday in November 2023 to attend Taylor Swift’s international tour. Kelce then returned to attend practice on Monday.

Aviation expert Richard Levy from Dallas said that renting a 10-seat private jet from the US to an international destination and back costs approximately $300,000 per trip.

Just 10 days after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Superbowl, Kelce chartered a plane from Los Angeles to Hawaii, then to Sydney to attend Swift’s concert on February 21 in Australia.

Michael Giordano, an aviation expert from Cirrus Aviation Services, confirmed that a flight from the US to Argentina costs approximately $300,000 and from Los Angeles to Sydney costs approximately $340,000 for a 10-seat aircraft.

A trip from Cleveland, Ohio (USA) to Singapore in March is also estimated to cost about 570,000 USD . The 19-hour flight on March 7 carrying Kelce and his group of friends also had to stop in Dubai to refuel.

Previously, Taylor Swift’s use of a private plane caused controversy about environmental pollution when she traveled between continents to conduct tours and attend her boyfriend’s NFL matches.

However, Taylor Swift’s representative told The Independent that the singer has purchased twice the amount of carbon credits needed to compensate for all of her trips, including the tour.

However, whether these carbon credit programs will include regular private flights by the Lover singer remains a question.
