Manchester United and a series of leading football organizations congratulated Cristiano Ronaldo on his 39th birthday.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s former team Manchester United and his Portuguese national team congratulated CR7 when he turned 39 on February 5.
On the occasion of his 39th birthday, teams like Al Nassr, Sporting, Portugal and Manchester United all wished Ronaldo. One of the above names even recognized the striker born in 1985 as GOAT (greatest player in history).
“February 5: GOAT’s birthday! Happy birthday Cristiano Ronaldo,” the Portuguese national team wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Manchester United sent a short greeting: “Viva Ronaldo”.
Meanwhile, Al Nassr also wrote briefly and concisely: “Happy Birthday GOAT”.
Not only his old teams, Ronaldo also received wishes from FIFA, Serie A and many other major organizations.
Considered by many to be one of the best players in football history, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is still demonstrating his ability to score goals even though he is nearly 40 years old. Since emerging more than two decades ago, Ronaldo has been the No. 1 superstar of the continent’s top clubs such as Man United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
CR7 is the only player to score more than 850 goals for club and country. Some of his other top honors include being the all-time top scorer in UEFA Champions League history (140), Real Madrid (450) and Portugal (128).
He is also the only player to score for two different championship teams in the Champions League final and has the most appearances in international men’s football (205). Ronaldo is also the top scorer at Euro (14 goals) and the first person to win the title of top scorer in Premier League, La Liga and Serie A.
