After the 2023 season ended with Inter Miami, superstar Lionel Messi went on a vacation lasting about 7 weeks with his family. This is considered an “unprecedented” vacation for the Argentine superstar, something he did not experience during his time playing in Europe.
Having spent Christmas and New Year in his hometown of Argentina, Messi and his family appeared at the airport to return to the US to join Inter Miami. Even though the first official match won’t be held until the end of February, Inter Miami Club still gathers early to prepare for a series of pre-season friendly matches.

According to Ole, Messi will have a busy 2024. This news site points out that if he plays well, the 36-year-old superstar and his teammates can bag up to 7 titles this year, including 5 trophies with Inter Miami and 2 trophies with Argentina.
Messi joined Inter Miami in July 2023 and immediately caused a stir with a series of remarkable performances. The 2022 World Cup champion scored 10 goals in the first 7 matches and helped the home team win the historic Leagues Cup championship.
However, since September, Messi has had physical problems and has not been able to contribute much to his parent team. Messi said the recent break will help him fully recover.
Messi’s first match this year is against El Salvador with Inter Miami. Later this month, the whole team will go to China to participate in a friendly tournament. Here, Messi will have the opportunity to reunite with Ronaldo, who is currently playing for Al Nassr.
