The new museum that NBA star LeBron James has opened in Akron is something that “we can all be proud of,” James says.

As the Los Angeles Lakers prepared to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers, a sizable crowd flocked to House Three Thirty in Akron to learn more about the remarkable career of the National Basketball Association’s all-time leading scorer.

The public was able to visit the LeBron James’ Home Court museum on Saturday morning. The Akron Kid’s Foundation rebuilt the structure that once housed the Tangier restaurant to serve as the museum.

The venue is located close to St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, where James gained widespread recognition during his junior year. It takes about three minutes to get there.

The Cleveland downtown area is about forty-four minutes away, which is the distance from the Cavaliers home arena. Upon starting his twenty-one-season professional career, James became inextricably linked with the team in this very arena. This bond was reinforced after he returned from Miami.

The 38-year-old superstar discussed the museum’s presentation at a press conference following the Lakers’ 121-115 victory over the Cavaliers on Saturday night, which may have been one of James’s final homecoming games.

James conveyed his gratitude for the chance to demonstrate his support for his foundation and community. As the Lakers defeated the Cavaliers (8-8) 10-7, James had a career-best performance, scoring 22 points, pulling down six rebounds, and dishing out six assists.

The museum’s regular admission tickets are twenty-three dollars, a nod to the number James wore on his jersey. Individuals associated with the I Promise School will have access to employment opportunities through House Three Thirty’s employment training program.

Children, parents, teachers, and other family members will be among these people. The whole proceeds from the sales will go to House Three Thirty. Together, the Akron Public Schools and the LeBron James Family Foundation have worked to take over the school.

He went on to say that it is “pretty cool” that James has been able to use the life lessons he has learned to give back to his hometown and make it a place where people are happy to live. To tell the truth, I am. I have every right to be proud of my foundation’s accomplishments, as they have been quite substantial. There are many things about my hometown to be proud of, and the museum is unquestionably one of them.
