TAYLOR Swift and Travis Kelce have set the world on fire as their respective pop and football fans relish their debut dose of celebrity PDA.

A body language expert said that the football player’s gentle patting maneuvers already contrast with Taylor’s date nights with her supposedly moody ex Joe Alwyn.

Taylor, 33, and Travis, 34, were photographed on Saturday outside an SNL after-party at Catch in New York City.

Body language expert Judi James argued that the way the NFL star helped Taylor out of the car was telling.

She said the player held his hand up like a regency courtier and supported Taylor’s balance, treating her like a princess and the A-lister she is.

According to James, it struck a contrast with how she and her actor ex Joe looked on outings during their six-year relationship, which was announced as over in April.

They, too, were photographed heading into an SNL after-party in 2019, though their body language at the time was noticeably different.

In an exclusive interview, James told The U.S. Sun: “Unlike Joe Alwyn, Travis looked like the pure protective alpha male.”

In one clip going viral on social media, Travis even waved off Taylor’s bodyguard so that he could open her car door and help her out himself.

“He trotted around Taylor, opening doors like a regency courtier and offering helping hands and pushing staff out of her way,” said James.

“Travis wanted to look after his girl himself.

“When they held hands walking along, he did not tow her. Travis presented Taylor like a princess.

“This differs from moody and complex Joe, who might have seemed exciting and sexy to her at the start.

“Travis held Taylor’s hand close to his own torso and showed her off as the main star.”

James suggested the lack of tension in Taylor and Travis’ hands speaks volumes.

She noticed the same on Sunday when the pair enjoyed dinner at the exclusive Waverley Inn.

“Generally, their hand clasps were relaxed during both outings, ” James said.

“Their fingers were meshed which showed closeness and a sense of protection.

“Travis had his huge mitt firmly on top and another behind her for gentle steering and patting.

“Joe Alwyn’s hand clasps were different in 2019 at the SNL party.

“He had his pretty-faced, stylish, and cool male model looks.

“But came across as grumpy and impatient looking in his body language when out with Taylor.”

Taylor started to be a regular on the NFL sidelines in September.

Her first appearance was celebrating Travis’ September 24 win against the Chicago Bears.

She was also photographed in a VIP fan’s box with his mom, Donna.

Taylor followed this by excitedly cheering Travis on at MetLife Stadium in New York.

James continued: “Taylor has picked a much more alpha man than Joe and who looks happy treating her like an A-lister.

“It looks like he insists on protecting her in a way that Joe never did.”

When Brit actor Joe dated Taylor, they were known to be incredibly private.

Their relationship first hit the headlines in 2017, with the pair going on to date for years.

On talking about her relationships, Taylor told the Guardian in 2019: “I’ve learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion.”

She added: “And our relationship isn’t up for discussion.”

James suggested Joe and Taylor looked more like siblings.

“Joe and Taylor could have even been twins, ” she said.

“They looked similar and showed twinned body language and styling.

“Joe looked more like Taylor’s brother thanks to their similar face-shapes, facial expressions, poses, and taste in clothes.

“Taylor’s demure smile was always similar to the one she wore with Joe.

“Joe did respond to her with an enigmatic facial expression, though”

James added that in contrast, Travis wants to show off his pride.

“Travis sports one of the smuggest, self-satisfied smiles the world has ever seen,” she said.

“He looks like he is announcing he feels he got lucky to date Taylor and he does not care who knows it.

“For Taylor, the charm of old-fashioned gentlemanly values might wear off.

“She might tire of the initial novelty of being protected and cherished by Travis.

“Taylor is a pop star and moves in a world of edginess with daring, and shock tactics.

“Why she is where she is with Travis could also be pinball relationship syndrome.

“She may have pinged from one man to the next

“Taylor does seem to have fallen into the arms of a man whose body language rituals on a date are like an old-fashioned gentleman.

“Travis could even be her unofficial bodyguard.”
